1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
Still being sane? Seriously though, with 4 young children, a very fast-paced job, outside work as a charitable fundraiser, volunteer, event planner, and an historical clothier, I often think I am nuts, but I am so lucky to have a wonderful husband who helps me keeps all the plates spinning!

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
I am always in awe of the Habitat for Humanity homeowners I meet. While they come from all walks of life, their dedication, perseverance, and shear tenacity are a common thread. They work for a better life for not only their immediate family, but also their community as a whole.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
The book from an exhibit in Greenwich, England on the 400th anniversary of Elizabeth I death. The guest curator was my favorite historian David Starkey (refer to Question number 4…I am super geeky!). Not only did I get to meet Mr. Starkey, he signed my book! It is priceless!

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
Geek Barbie! I am, of course, a girlie-girl who loves all things sparkly, but I am also a huge sci-fi fan, a historical clothier and yes...I have played Dungeons and Dragons in my time! There is nothing like wearing a rhinestone track suit and curling up with some Harry Potter!

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
I love summer; especially the last weeks before the kids go back to school are the best. The beauty and varied landscapes of the Northwest, we have found, are best enjoyed in our RV camper! This time as a family is some of our most treasured time together.
