1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
Each morning I rise just before 5:30. I take the first 45 minutes as my quiet time to offer prayers of gratitude and praise. I can then move forward with preparing a good breakfast and a cheerful wake-up for my daughter to start her day off just right.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
Generous. I try to be generous with my time, heart, talents and patience, while balancing the many responsibilities that go into being a spouse.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
Come hike our Blue Ridge Mountains, sail along the shores of the Atlantic, or walk in the footsteps of America's founding fathers. Fall in love with Virginia's four seasons and learn why "Virginia is for Lovers".

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
Pageantry is fun yet competitive, therefore, it takes dedication, personal conviction, and flexibility. I was once told to stay true to myself, but be open and receptive to the feedback. This has allowed me to grow personally and to remain competitive while enjoying the experience.

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
Celebrating 19 years of marriage and relishing the time before my daughter heads off to college. I hope my blood donor advocacy work has helped to ensure that every state has a starting blood donor age of 16 and we have closed the gap on an ever present blood shortage.
