1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
I’m outgoing, caring, dedicated, enthusiastic and I love a challenge! One person, one voice can make a difference. My years working as a nurse have taught me this. Life is precious. My motto is “be the difference for someone each day and the rewards will be great”.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
I recently finished my first triathlon. I had talked about it for years and decided to just DO IT! I had a serious neck injury a couple of years ago and wasn’t sure if I would be up to the challenge. Crossing the finish line was the most amazing feeling.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
Hard work and determination to get moving even on the days I’d rather not. Exercising is my meditation time. I do cardio and weight training. Weights are my favorite, it makes me feel strong! I’m a classic “grazer” so I make sure to have healthy snacks around to munch on.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
Traditions, beliefs and experiences that we have as individuals and together. Unique in each person’s expression of them yet similar in nature—loving, caring, generosity. Family values are what we view as important now and what we hope our children and grandchildren will remember long after we are gone.

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
Diet soda and chocolate. A habit that doesn’t really jump out as being heart healthy. My goal: think small, a bite size piece of candy to take care of a craving and for every bottle of Diet soda I drink two bottles of water.
