Spring Gray - Top 16

1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
Titus, my son, is my catalyst for becoming the best Spring I can be. As his mother, I have the beautiful responsibility to show him how to treat women and what to look for in his own wife. Whether it’s our rides to soccer or Mommy-Titus plane rides, every single moment with him is precious. Each day I work harder to provide for him, remain patient, and love him more than the day before.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
Starting with morning snuggles from my husband, son, and cat… a perfect day would be spent with them and my family in my hometown of Grundy, VA. We would go on an adventure, followed by lunch at my favorite restaurant - Dotson’s, and an afternoon of sitting around the table with everyone telling embarrassing stories. We’d end the night outside, just like old times, surrounded by my precious family and sweet home of Grundy.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
Dad always taught us that there was a rule even greater than treating others how you'd want to be treated, rather he empowered us to treat others the way THEY would like to be treated. I strive to embody that mindset each day through my work with CASA, my entrepreneurial work, and in my family. By putting myself in other’s situations, I am able to be more in touch with what they are experiencing.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
On our mantel resides a single brick that is a representation of more than just abundant natural resources. This brick comes from my family’s old office building that held great significance in the foundation of the Robertsons. I grew up running up and down the halls of this building. My dad’s tenacity, unconditional love, and servant’s heart is captured so symbolically through this brick. I can only hope to be half the person my Dad is.
