1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
San Diego is known for its perfect weather! The sunny sky allows us to eat outdoors year-round as well as enjoy many other attractions that celebrate history, military, music and of course baseball. Our symphony has an outdoor amphitheater where you can listen to music while enjoying a view of the San Diego Bay. Petco Park has been named the best MLB ballpark by USA Today. San Diego absolutely lives up to its nickname of America's finest city!
2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
My house burned down when I was 5 and the firemen saved a teddy bear from my room. I still have him, and re-named him Smokey. Because of that fire, I was well- trained by my parents to always be prepared. Item number 2 would be my fireproof portable safe, that has all my important documents in it. It also has a pair of my late Grandma's clip on earrings that I wore for my wedding.
3.What do you love to cook and why?
I love chopping vegetables! It doesn't matter what dish I'm making, chopping veggies is my favorite part. I find it therapeutic.
4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
Focus on self-care. Time seems to be what keeps us from making sure we get the TLC we need. I have a goal to get a monthly massage, but if it could happen daily, I'd be a happy camper.
5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
Being in the restaurant business, doing dishes is considered a "dirty job", but it's absolutely one of my favorite spots to work. I don't get to do it often, but feel it's important as a leader to demonstrate that I'm willing and able to do any task I'd ask of anyone else.
